Teen Talk

WA Child Safety Services has developed the Teen Talk Series to teach protective behaviours principles directly to adolescents.

Teen Talk is delivered by our qualified and experienced Child Safety Trainers who understand the complexity of young people and the issues they face.

This program focuses on four topic areas which can be delivered separately or as a series to groups of high school aged young people:

  • Let’s Talk About Sexual Abuse
  • Let’s Talk About Healthy Relationships
  • Let’s Talk About Cyber Safety
  • Let’s Talk About Pornography

Teen Talk Professional Development and Parent Workshops are specially designed to provide parents, carers and professionals with vital knowledge about current issues facing young people, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, cyber abuse and the impact of pornography. Workshop participants will develop an understanding of the issues, and practical strategies to empower young people to know their rights and how to access support.
